We are a Crypto Newsletter for anyone looking to stay informed and up to date about the latest developments in the world of cryptocurrency and blockchain.

We state, “covering the latest news that matters” because we believe there is a LOT of jargon and crap in the media and online about crypto and web 3.0. We want to provide you the best news and information whether you are an avid investor or don’t know anything about Bitcoin and want somewhere to start.

Currently Crypto Cooler is managed and written by Jayson Hanlon. I am currently working in IT in San Diego, but have a huge passion for crypto. I have been curious in many aspects of Crypto starting from 2019. I have pivoted and learned many aspects of crypto and web 3.0 but still feel very timid talking to anyone or joining clubs. I am writing this newsletter to learn more myself while also helping others learn that may be fearful and don’t know where to start.

I have taken a lot of inspiration from Sam Parr and Shaan Puri. I think they have an amazing podcast, My First Million, and have created world class newsletters. Specifically from Shaan, the Milk Road is a very funny crypto newsletter that I love.

Great Question! The short answer is, I don’t really know.

The name stuck when I was trying to find other C words that would go good with Crypto.

Crypto Cooler fell into a great vision point for me from perk bottles. I always used to play Call of Duty Zombies and love the perk machine where you drink the perk, or ability, like Juggernog and Speed Cola. From that I saw people who had the real bottles from the game and I always thought it was so cool. Example below.

From this idea, I created the Crypto Cooler logo and then all the bottle logos to match them. It’s like if all these crypto bottles were inside of the cooler. Pick out your favorite one ;)

I have tons of goals and ideas for Crypto Cooler. I would also love for some feedback and what others would like to hear, see or use from us.

First Goal, is slowly growing this newsletter. I understand newsletters have become very popular over the recent years. I would love to make this my full-time gig but we’ve got a long road ahead of us. With that being said, the goals at hand that are in my control are writing a good newsletter every week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Next Goal is to make a likewise newsletter or article integration of all the hacks, fraud, scams and bad stuff going on in Crypto. By all means I have been scammed and hacked and it is not fun. I do however love and want to know more about the security and prevention side of things. There will always be fraud and hacks in any sector of business. I want to journal and report how things occur, what could’ve been prevented and how to become better and inform users how to protect themselves.

Future Plan 1: We want to create Referral Program that benefits you and gives you some cool stuff. Some things I have in mind currently are the crypto hack and prevention guide and articles with info. Then some cool gear I want to make are some stickers, maybe an enamel pin, fridge magnets, a dad hat, and more. I personally think the Crypto Cooler logo looks sick and combined with the crypto bottles, we got some COOL stuff that can be made.

Future Plan 2: Have some sort of interactive elements, media integration or analytics. I think Dune can be such a cool tool, even though I haven’t used it much. Also, @disruptichq on TikTok has amazing videos that break down complex topics to show uses in a visual form what happened or how something works. I personally watch a lot of YouTube and clearly thats the place to be right now. The amount of users and subscribers on that platform is game changing.
